About Harati Singing bowls and handicrafts centre Nepal

With the vision of promoting Nepalese arts and crafts, Master Saran Shahi founded the Harati Singing bowls and Handicrafts Centre in 2001. It’s a family run business specialized in selling and exporting a wide range of singing bowls which are personally handpicked by Master Saran and his family. Each singing bowl is checked thoroughly for their sound quality and vibration. Also, multiple selections and quality control phases are carried out before handing over to the clients.

Along with the singing bowls, the shop also dealt with high quality Nepalese metal and wooden handicrafts.
Master Saran was into the handicrafts business since his young age. He grew up selling Nepalese arts and crafts. Apart from it, he also opened his Handloom workshop which manufactured woolen fabrics. Eventually the market slowly began to shrink so he diverted his focus fully back to Curio (Handicrafts) business from where he founded “Harati Singing bowls and handcrafts Centre”.

The Harati Singing bowl was firstly opened at the hill top of the UNESCO World Heritage site Swoyambhu Nath Temple (Monkey Temple) just a few steps behind the Shrine of Goddess “Harati Ma”. From where the name of the shop was derived. Later during the covid 19 days the shop was relocated to their private residence at Chhauni area and began to provide both online and offline services from there. With more than 23 years of experience, Harati singing bowl is still providing its genuine services globally by following their Legacy.
